Payment
Projects are split 50% before work starts and 50% at launch. For a ₹12,000 one-page site that is ₹6,000 upfront. Care plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the paid month.
What you own
On final payment you own the design and the source files of your website outright, with no ongoing licence and no restriction on modifying them or moving them elsewhere. Your domain is registered in your name from the start and is yours regardless of the state of any project.
Brightleaf Studio keeps the right to show the work in a portfolio and to describe the work publicly. If you would rather the project were not shown, say so and it will not be.
Timelines
A one-page build takes 5 working days and a multi-page build about 14, counted from the day complete material — photographs, service list, prices, hours and contact details — is received. Delays in supplying material move the launch date by at least the same amount.
Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included. A round means one consolidated set of changes. Changes that alter the agreed scope — new pages, a different structure, a change of business direction — are quoted separately before any work on them starts.
If it is not right
If the finished site is not what was agreed and it cannot be put right, the remaining balance is not owed and the deposit is returned. In that case the work is not used and no files are handed over.
If you stop paying for a care plan
Nothing is switched off. You keep the site, the source files and the domain, and take over hosting and updates. Care plan cancellation does not affect ownership of anything.
What is not promised
No search ranking position is promised, by Brightleaf Studio or by anyone who is being honest. No specific number of enquiries, bookings or customers is promised. What is promised is the build described in writing before the project starts, delivered to the stated performance targets and measured before handover.
Content you supply
You confirm that photographs, logos and text you provide are yours to use. Brightleaf Studio is not responsible for claims arising from material supplied by a client, including images taken from elsewhere.
For regulated trades — dental and medical practices in particular — you remain responsible for the claims made on your site under your professional body’s rules. Guidance is offered where it is known, but it is not legal advice and the final call is yours.
Third-party services
Hosting, domain registration and any booking or form service are provided by third parties under their own terms. Brightleaf Studio is not liable for outages or changes to those services, but will help sort out anything that breaks.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
